10 Things You Didn't Know About An Architect
We’re in a whole new league all together and you probably hate us because you ain’t us but thats going to change.
We might not always posses the kind of cash you think we do but as architects, we have great taste. Be it our clothes or our work, we are always slaying it.
Our Arguing Skills Are Unmatched
We’ve been doing this since college. It runs in our veins! Convincing clients, convincing the jury and convincing the faculty, that is our thing and we are pretty darn good at it.
We Have Fun
Who says that Architects do not have fun? We have as much fun as anyone else does. Haven't you heard of the saying ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’?
Nothing Misses Our Eyes
We architects are constantly on the lookout for new things to see and articles to observe. We look for inspiration everywhere and in all forms. That is one reason that we have such a sharp eye and taste for everything.
Finicky Little Creatures
We can look at a line from a mile and tell you that it isn't a perfectly straight one. And trust us, we don't do this purposely. It is naturally embedded in us to pick on anything and everything that is not ‘perfect’
Our Houses Are Worth Seeing
This is one thumb rule that comes with our profession. If we can’t make our own homes how would others trust us with theirs? Therefore, we preach what we practice. Our homes are one of the finest showcases of our work.
We Dote On Coffee
Just like any other sleep deprived human, we live on coffee. Our work ethics keep us up for long hours and some caffeine comes to our rescue. Our knight is shining armour, our loveable cup of aromatic coffee!
Our Circles are Small
No, I’m not referring to geometric forms here. I’m pointing out to how our group of friends stays the same. The same bunch of people who’ve stuck together since college-we work together, chill together and create memories together. We might also have our own lingo that’ll do the rounds frequently.
We Are Overachievers
We are so used to the grilling that we keep pushing ourselves for more and more. This polishes our design and in a way polishes our personalities too. Being in the same routine for years, it forms a very good habit to keep aiming for more.
We Are The Boss
With the civil works under us, the labour under us, the structural engineers under us, we have the edge. We delicate work, we know it all and we are certainly the boss in the field. We are not a force to be reckoned with!
