Architecture is a beautiful and gold career path to take. With many a challenges and hard work, you can really make it till the very end. There are 10 sure shot signs that point to you being a successful architect-
You’re Fit in the Head
You need to be the jack of all trades and their master too. Architects can juggle many genres of knowledge and execute that in their work. Therefore, you need to be smart and have a good presence of mind. If you’re mentally fit, there is nothing that can stop you.
Have the Power to Observe
Sense of sight and perceiving is one very important quality that goes a long way in making an architect. One must be able to look around and register things in short spans on time. Your eyes are your window and they must always be open.
You Solve Problems in a Jiffy
As Architects, you would be required to take down any problem thrown at you. You must have the ability to be a conquerer and tackle any given situation.
You have the ability to Think With Your Hands
Most architects have the innate tendency to sketch or pen down their thoughts. The carry with them the ability to think on paper rather than just creating doodles in their head.
Lego is Your Thing
As a child, you loved to play with lego and now that you're all grown up, you want to go down that lane again. As architects, we conceptualise in real time. Working with models makes us understand better. If you're capable of doing so, congratulations my friend because you are halfway there.
Management Skills Are On Point
You’ll need to adjust a lot. Time may be your biggest enemy or you best friend, the choice is your to make. You must be well equipped to deal with everything that comes your way. You never know what crops up when, so you must always make room for new things without compromising on the older ones.
You Love The Natural Beauty.
Nature is the most exquisite form of architecture to have ever been created. You must be sensible towards it and use it to your advantage. Nature when teamed up with the built environment creates a splendid outcome, one that is unmatched in terms of aesthetics. We must posses the skill to exploit this side and make good use of it.
You’re Patient
Patience is the key to achieving anything worthy in architecture. You must be willing to work and rework on a single project multiple times. This, in turn, will bring out a more refined and workable project from you.
You’re Tech Savvy
This isn't one concrete sign because there is always scope of learning and discovering but if you’ve got a hang of many softwares, you can easily nail architecture!
You’re a Learner and a Dreamer
You’re not afraid to think out of the box and go wild with your imagination. You’re also not scared to experiment, fall and then learn from the whole experience. These are two very important qualities that give you the edge over others.
Be your own hero, be and Architect and put dreams to reality!
