Design Ideas To Make Your Hotel “A Pleasant Stay”

Hotels are all around you, but finding the right one that fulfils your needs and that makes you feel at home is a big challenge. People stay inhotels as their temporary abode. Though it’s for a short time, the customers expect to be treated nicely. The design of the hotel is equally important as the service offered to the guests. Beautiful Designs can make the guests come back from time to time to relive their experience. And they would definitely appreciate a good service though it’s for a short time.
Things to consider when designing a Hotel
Welcome in Style:
Make your customers feel grand by giving them a warm welcome. Design the hotel lobby with class. The reception is the first thing that everyone would notice. Design the front desk in a way that it is big and clutter free. People like it when the reception area is open and spacious. Do not clutter the reception desk, Keep it simple and classy. Also, the reception area should be peaceful and pleasant. It should be designed in a way that it does not allow loud noises from the street. Design the tables with little cabinets to hide the wirings of all electrical equipmentfrom outside view.
Choose the Right Shades:

The colour should be inviting and pleasant both outside and inside the hotel. Choose light colours to create a welcoming atmosphere. Colours like Ivory, yellow, light brown and blueare very popular if you are opting for a contemporary design. Dark shades might dampen the spirits of the inmates sometimes. You can also try combination of colours for an attractive interior.
Go for the right Décor:
Choose the rightfurniture and décor that will complement your reception area. If you are going for traditional style, go for wooden décor.Do not clutter the space. Too many things will be a big put off for many. Keep it simple and nice.
Durable Fabrics:
The durability of the fabrics used in the hotel is very important. If the hotel is one of the hot spot, opt for a durable fabric, but at the same time do not compromise on the taste and style. The Guests nowadays have an elevated sense of style when choosing a hotel. They rate not only based on the comfort and service, small thing like the fabric also matters. Uniformity in the colour and the material is very critical. Choose curtains and upholstery that goes with your décor.
Flooring:
And let’s come to the flooring. This could be the beginning or the end of a pleasant stay. Choose light coloured flooring tiles or granites instead of dark and hard flooring. Large carpeted reception area is more welcome than a plain floor. The flooring can make the room appear big and spacious or like a dungeon. Light ivory or yellow are the frequently used colours in the hotel lobbies.
Finally, keep up with the latest trends instead of sticking to the traditions. People these days love variety, so pull yourself and design something out of the box. Keep it vibrant yet classy. And lastly, do not forget the service. Great service with beautiful designs can go a long way.
